Copal is a sacred resin to the Maya and is traditionally used in ceremony as an important offering. Copal helps to:

• Support energetic clearing
• Ground and center
• Connect to ancestral practices

All our copal is hand-harvested by women in the Red Ratzum in small batches, tree by tree, using a stick and a leaf to collect the resin. We are honored to share this sacred medicine and also support the reforestation of these trees, which are at risk of extinction in Guatemala. 

How to use: place dried copal pieces over a hot coal. The resin will melt and offer its purifying smoke for you to cleanse any space or ceremony.
