This 100% ceremonial-grade cacao is made from our premier cacao block which is then ground into a powder form and bagged to make it super easy for you to scoop, blend, and enjoy.

As always, the cacao seeds come from organic soils tended on family parcels via the Red Ratzum Cooperative and always checked for highest quality. It goes through a careful fermentation process, is sun-dried, then fire-toasted in small batches by Q'eqchi women, and finally hand-peeled, seed by seed, to preserve the integrity of the medicine. This cacao supports regenerative agroforestry practices and fair livelihoods for original caretakers of the land.

Preparation: Add 2-3 tbsp cacao to hot water. Add your choice of sweetener and spices. Blend. Drink slowly, with intention.

Note: this is 100% cacao paste, simply ground, and contains the full fat and nutrients of a normal cacao block. This is NOT cocoa powder, which typically has the fat separated from the chocolatey powder.
